Varice Clinic
Varicose veins are veins that have become enlarged and twisted.
Disorder of the lower limb veins is a common medical disorder, and
usually occurs in about %15 of men and %35 of women.
A common treatment in the past was the use of surgery to remove
such affected veins.
Nowadays, by using radiofrequency waves or laser, most varicose
veins can be cured
In this procedure a radiofrequency probe enters into the patient›s
veins using local anesthesia and such abnormal veins are treated by
using local heating.
The advantages of this procedure in comparison with open surgery
includes: there is no need for general anesthesia, and therefore
prevents the anesthetic complications, tiny incision and less
complications, and short recovery period, so that the patient starts
the movement on the day of treatment.
